Daily Newsie

I must confess I never meant to be a journalist — it’s something I stumbled into because, well, you have to major in something or else you get kicked out of college, right? My accidental career has taken me from Pennsylvania to New York to Ohio to southcentral Kentucky, where I settled quite nicely at a daily newspaper (hence the name) in a town that I unabashedly adore.

I’ve since jettisoned my journalism career in favor of pursuing a masters degree in communication with my eye on eventually teaching/becoming an editor/moving into the PR or media relations field. The next two years should be interesting. You’re all invited along for the ride.
