It is with memories of a satisfying flavor that I note the passing of Strawberry last night in the early evening.
Strawberry was bright, red, and eagerly monitored every day it was part of our lives. Services were held the night of detachment, with the small brush of a napkin immediately following.
Strawberry is survived by “the other strawberries,” who remained silent when asked for comment.
We consumed the strawberry the other night (it was delicious!) and there are already half a dozen more getting ready to ripen. Maybe we’ll have enough for an actual dessert rather than a tiny sliver.

That’s SO EXCITING! Congrats!
(We’re trying desperately to resurrect a rubber plant — you’re having a lot more luck than me!)

Are those the kind you can eat? My mom had some strawberry plants growing in a flowerbed, but the berries were tiny and tasted like crap. LOL.
